Trump may not be too smart but I suspect at least some of the men he has surrounded himself with will be a tad more intelligent (by the law of averages).

And a great many of them have their taxes paid by their employers.
Either way, failure to pay fed taxes would cause a dangerous poostorm for them.
Governor Moonbeam's citizens just aren't revolting enuf to stomach the consequences.

Trump invokes 14th Amendment clauses, crushes the state government and forces them all to resign. Invokes an immediate re-election to fill the voided posts... States lost the ability to leave the US of A in 1868, and California was party to this. It is specifically mentioned that anyone working against the federal government is unable to hold a state position, so...

An attempt to #Calexit would be the death null for all of the liberals in that state, they'd immediately be kicked out and dealt with. They'd also all be rotting in jail for treason.

I wish that they will..Just imagine all of the federal employees and the poor that depends on federal programs to survive. That they will tear down California, and will be shouting out screw the immigrants. The ones that supports sanctuary cities are people that are supported by their Republicans parents, and which that they doesn't needs any federal assistance. Well Obama is moving down to California, and which he will be changing his mind about moving to that state.
California is up to something. Because they are sure buying up a lots of guns.

The reality of a Trump administration has shocked many Californians into a newfound appreciation for the 2nd Amendment. Since November, there has been a record number firearms sold in the Golden State — and many of those buying them are liberals. Hopefully, instead of being blinded by identity politics, this can be a moment for both parties to realize gun ownership is a necessary check on centralized power. The 2nd Amendment has long been a point of contention between the left and the right, but perhaps a year like 2016 is what was needed to find some common ground. US liberals are now buying guns

California's been prepping to fight Trump for months now, so I'm pretty sure California's officials are prepared for any said poo-storm. I'm also sure Trump or someone within his ranks isn't dumb enough to risk forsaking federal taxes from the most populated state in the union.

I'd hate to be a military contractor (eg, Northrop) in CA if the fed seeks retaliation.

Trump places a restriction on the same countries that Obama put a temporary restriction on and people are losing their minds and calling him out as dumb. Oh my it seems like the world is flooded with hypocrites. If Obama initiates strategic mass bombings in countries not at war while specifically targeting Islamic nations he is a hero and if Trump avoids direct conflict he is a racist.
