Can you recommend to me an app for reading the Quran in English for an Android phone, please? I need one that will run off-line as I don't have much data in my phone plan.

In the end I bawked at the 40mb requirement for the alislam app and installed this one instead:

It appears to have a clean interface, but the way it highlights paragraphs when you tap them is a bit annoying. But it's a good start I think.

wa salam. My fav software for windows is ZEKR. However they don't have an app for Android. But, their facebook page suggests this one; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quran.labs.androidquran&hl=en
