They all are. It's part of our plot to replace your Folgers with fair trade coffee, eliminate gender bias language in your textbooks, and ensure that you're listening to Air America, PBS, and Radio Pacifica in your Prius.

People often think I am a deviant, because of my physical appearance, and at one time that was true. But if they would take 5 seconds to say hello and talk to me they would know that my physical appearance is a complete contradiction of how I am on the inside.

I can never tell unless (as every one else has pointed out) they give it away by their dress or jewelry.

Jesus Himself said that His disciples will be known by the love that they have for one another. It's what's inside us that comes out of us and we can't hide it all- good or bad.
When a person demonstrates sacrificial sincere caring and concern it's pretty easy to narrow it down. There are many religions and philosophies but not many based on love.

I can sometimes pick out Mormons and they've sometimes picked me out (even when I had a big, shaggy beard).

There are many sacrificially loving sincere and caring non christians out in the world.
And as well many christians who do not seem to know the meaning of the word love.

Some of us are just born sensitive and loving.
Religion never had a thing to do with it.

As well, some people only recognize love as "this or that",
so when it comes in another package, they dismiss it as something else.

Greetings!

Whether it is by the way that someone dresses, speaks, looks or by the way they carry themselves. If someone never told you which religion they followed or belonged to, would you be able to tell a person's religion by just looking and interacting with them?

Ideally, this should be possible! It may not be possible to pinpoint a specific religion, however, as all the great religions share a number of common teachings and outlooks.

My scriptures do indeed say that our actions should be so good that the answer to this becomes obvious! (Many of us aren't quite up to that standard, though, I fear.)

And unless someone wears some sort of specific giveaway like a ring, brooch, or necklace, the truth tends to remain somewhat obscure. This is the more so in many faiths where adherents don't dress very differently from everyone else.

Best regards, :)

More faiths are wearing distinctive clothing than in my youth.
Some you can even tell from the back. In north london if you see a couple driving in a Volvo one in a wig and the other with a black homberg style hat, You know they are Jewish.

I can usually make an educated guess. Around here, for example, people with more than two or three kids are always mormons. Like my dentist. He has a family photo on the wall and has about ten kids. I had to stop going to him since he was always pushing expensive cosmetic procedures so he could feed all those kids. It was aggressive and annoying. Now I'm looking for a dentist who is willing to simply do what's required to keep my natural teeth in my head as long as possible.

We notice quite a few Mennonites in our area. Those are easy to spot. And recently I've actually seen a few women wearing the full niqab which I thought was a little odd for our area but perhaps some new families are moving into town.

In lots of places, the people with all the kids are Catholic, and statistically speaking, that's not surprising.

I live in a Roman Catholic area of Vermont and no one has an inkling that I am a Satanist.

Why is it that every time I see a hutterite they are either selling potatoes or stealing from Wal-mart?

As for me, I wear a cross everywhere just to throw people off.;)
