Cannabis and violence, mass killings

But it is still a bad argument. A flawed argument and an argument based on a straw man, hence the plethora of perhaps....
The straw man is when people harp on about how bad is, but they tend to not have an issue with alcohol (a drug that society approves of, and even encourages the abuse of), and if they have an issue with tobacco they aren't putting nearly the energy and effort into, and while they'll mention things like cancer and a ton of deaths, they do not put the rampant spins and fallacious tales behind tobacco like they do with pot. They are the ones constructing a straw man by being very inconsistent in their approach towards drugs. We're supposed to be worried about marijuana getting in the hands of kids, but you just do not see the campaigns to keep things like Red Bull out the hands of kids, even though such high amounts of caffeine can put someone in the hospital with heart problems.

Yeah, not so worried about that red bull epidemic that you keep going on about.

But please tell me who is harping on marijuana, please point out one who is arguing such, then we can actually look at that person's argument.

You are attacking an imaginary position. But even so that imaginary position could still be rational depending on the details. But we don't know the details, BECAUSE NO ONE here is arguing this imaginary position of yours.
