That is not comparable to my experience. I did not want the Book of Mormon to be true because I did not want to go on a mission.
I received my witness after months of reading, praying and anxiety.
Then we are going to have to agree to disagree because the more I read it the more sure I am of its truth and I have seen no convincing evidence against it or the Prophet Joseph Smith.I've read the Book of Mormon several times, and I've concluded its a fake. No amount of fasting and praying is going to change that. The evidence against it and Joseph is too great. Too bad.
I believe you saw what you wanted to see in this "evidence" and just came to the conclusion that you wanted.
That's my take on it.
