Probably, or something like it. What color are they supposed to be? Looks like the strawberries are dead and in a morgue.
You're supposed to see the strawberries as red (though they are grey). It is due to a phenomenon known as colour persistency in the psychology of perception.

Maybe it's my background in photography and photo editing, but I did not see red. More like a greyish, somewhat brownish hue that really does seem to remind me of someone who's been dead long enough for the skin to loose the appearance of warmth and fresh circulating blood.

I wouldn't say that those who see green and grey are in error. In the picture of the shoes, they are grey and green, as Shadow Wolf and I have shown. (Which is an artefact produced by the flash.)

Btw.: I saw pink and green and I'm very analytical.

The Vans footwear in question is actually pink in colour.

The main point remains that the artificiality lighted picture of the pink shoe appears pink to some and green to some. This is all I know.

@Shadow Wolf I don't understand. Did they just layer the original with blue-green?
I don't know. I'd have to know which one is the actual original, and from the there the best I could do is guess what effect filters or other editing tools that may have been used.

That in itself is rather amazing.

I suspect it was a deliberate attempt at replicating the strawberry illusion:

I think this is the image, because this one even looks red to me but there is no red in it. This is probably one of the better examples of an optical illusions that I have seen.
