How Privileged Are You?
You live with 26 out of 100 points of privilege.

You’re not privileged at all. You grew up with an intersectional, complicated identity, and life never let you forget it. You’ve had your fair share of struggles, and you’ve worked hard to overcome them. We do not live in an ideal world and you had to learn that the hard way. It is not your responsibility to educate those with more advantages than you, but if you decide you want to, go ahead and send them this quiz. Hopefully it will help.

I answered the questions seriously, too. And that actually sums up my life pretty well.
Not bad for an able bodied, cis-white-male.
I like to think some SJW is losing their mind right about now because I only got 26 privilege points.

66 of 100.
I'm privileged and I knew that going into the silly "test".
On the other hand I grew up dirt poor and knew it.
I always had work because I LOOKED for work.
I got my first job making EXPLOSIVES in a powder mill at 17.
I'm not rich today but I want for nothing.
I also realize I can't live beyond my means.
I'm responsible and pay my bills as or better than agreed.
My credit rating is excellent.
I'm disabled due to injuries sustained as a police officer.

That said I didn't sit on my arse and whine.
I got a grant due to my injuries on the job, started college at age 48.
At age 53 I had TWO degrees and a salaried job at G.M. worked full time and carried
a full time college load!
G.P.A. was 3.7.

If I am indeed privileged I freakin' EARNED IT!

I am retired now and know how to live well but within my ability to pay
my bills on time.
I can even balance a checkbook!:D:D
My fiance (age 72) owns a home on the water in Florida and a dandy home here in Ohio.
She's legally BLIND.
She grosses $100 K annually in her OWN home based business.
Privilege?
Sure. WE EARN IT.
Ain't got doodley squat to do with being "white".
Today people of color get MORE breaks than I ever did!
So do females especially those of color.

17 points, the test wasn't well geared towards asexuals or atheists or younger people.
Yeah, I think that drove my score down a little as well. Also, growing up dirt poor, and just by complete luck I was in a unit in the Army that was mostly hispanic and black, so all the religion, wealth, and race questions went unchecked for me.

You live with 15 out of 100 points of privilege.

You’re underprivileged. The world is not a fair or ideal place and you know that because you grew up with several identities that the world is not kind to. You had a lot of challenges to overcome simply to get on a level playing field with most people in the world. It is not your job to educate the world about its injustices, but if you choose to, go ahead and send them this quiz. Hopefully it will help.

And some others, like the questions regarding flying. It's not something I do, so of course I've never been selected for this "secondary passport control." Actually, I don't even know what that means. And I've never been cyber bullied, but we didn't have such things when I was a kid, and MySpace and Facebook were hardly a thing (if even a thing) when I was in high school. And then the ones like "I've never been called a "***"" and "I've never been called a "dyke"" should really be on the same box since they are both slurs against homosexuals.

68 for me although there were a couple of questions that were epically dumb. Like the 'have you never worked as a bartender/barista/sales person' one...

Because cooking pies at the footy or working as a storeman to pay my way through uni were so much more privileged than working as 'a salesperson' which could mean anything, upto and including a very high salary. Sheesh.

37/100. Could have been worse if I wasn't a white male, but the test doesn't cover "ideology" only religion.

Poor test, as an atheist it jumps the tracks.

35/100 same line as @Sapiens. Not that I expected much differently, I grew up in a pretty bad neighborhood and moved out of it through a lot of ups and downs. A lot of the questions seem to presume that because of X you don't experience Y. I'll tell you no one in the USA has it worse than a poor white guy -- you aren't a protected class and you get nothing for free. You can't even get welfare without dirty looks and extra scrutiny. I grew up with a lot of anti-white racism because apparently white people have it so much better that it justifies overt mistreatment. I mean, how dare I live in a poor neighborhood when my skin is white as the driven snow? :D

The white privilege thing is a complete joke -- whites in this country get nothing, but racism. Hate the young white men, and hate them good -- they cause all your problems! The feminists hate us, the black lives matter people hate us, the Muslims hate us, and so does everyone else! All being a white guy is good for is being hated by someone else!

People need to stop blaming other folks for their state of being and start being responsible for their own lives.

How privileged are you?

If you have the resources and the time to complete a naive, overtly simplistic insipid test on a joke site, I'd say you're pretty ****ing privileged lol

I got 41.

Seriously, I know Sociology is a "soft Science" but when did it go from studying various social phenomenons that occur in various societies, to a literal hierarchy of "privilege" and how to calculate it?

Life is not fair, I sympathize with those living in poverty or surrounded by violence (regardless of skin color, sexual orientation or any of that other stuff.) And I agree with efforts to stop the endless circle of that life among the youth and help the older gens caught in that vicious cycle any way we can.
But you're the only one who can decide the outcome of your life. People overcome hardships all the time. They've been doing it for generations. None of them wanted a medal, they just rolled up their sleeves and got on with the task at hand. No wonder the older generation are laughing at us.
And why is it whenever "privilege" comes up, it's never the 1% that are the target? They are the most privileged ******** out there!!!

To speak in Aussie for a moment, too many Whinging Poms have arisen, sitting on the duff, looking for a hand out. Harden the **** up, mate.

But real talk, if you can go to a goddamned University and pay tuition to listen to your professors pontificate about subtle "privilege" in action through society, chances are you're pretty privileged to begin with.
Even TAFE students are laughing at Sociology, Gender/Women's Studies and other "SJW" courses nowadays.
I suppose at least now the Psychology, Philosophy and English Majors are no longer subject to the scorn of the "useless degree" complaints.

I got 45/100 which apparently makes me NOT privileged, which I heartily disagree with.

Because privilege is relative. I'm privileged compared to another woman who is a minority, but I'm less privileged that my white cis-male husband. But then, that is also debatable because it depends on whether you consider certain things a privilege or not. I work from home, my husband works in an office and makes the money. All the financial earning is on his shoulders. Whereas, even though I take care of the home, I don't have to earn money to make ends meet. So who's got it better? The guy with all the financial responsibility because society dictates that men be bread winners, or the woman who stays home, doesn't have to deal with co-worker BS and lives comfortably knowing she doesn't have to worry about paying bills?

Also Privilege can be fluid. Because the above scenario wasn't always been the case. I lived alone, at the poverty line and worried about money all the time when I was single. However, I had a loving family out of state I could run home to in the worst case scenario if things went to hell. Not everyone has a supportive network.

So privilege is funny. I would say overall, I am privileged, no doubt.

I noticed that the first bit of questions were aimed at people who aren't white. But even though I am white I have been called racial slurs, I have been told I sound/act "very white," and people for some reason people like touching my hair (women more so than men - they especially like brushing it and styling it).
Seriously, I know Sociology is a "soft Science" but when did it go from studying various social phenomenons that occur in various societies, to a literal hierarchy of "privilege" and how to calculate it?
For awhile now, and it is a social phenomenon. Two of the more apparent types of privilege where I live is how black people, though a sizeable portion of the population, are severely underrepresented in "higher" jobs, and white people are often surprised to meet a black person who speaks "plain" English, as if there aren't any white kids running around barely able to speak it. And with this being a Conservative state, of course homosexuals lead to all sorts of sexual deviance and transsexuals are a bunch of sexual predators, and such attitudes do shape the opinions of others.
But you're the only one who can decide the outcome of your life. People overcome hardships all the time. They've been doing it for generations. None of them wanted a medal, they just rolled up their sleeves and got on with the task at hand. No wonder the older generation are laughing at us.

They are. Encase you didn't notice, wealth is one of the points brought up in the questioning, such as "I have no student loans" (although that can also be a refection of time), and "I have never felt poor," or "I have never went to bed hungry."

Yay, I can show this to anyone who thinks I have life handed to me on a silver platter simply because I'm a straight, white male.

Of course, I don't encounter a lot of SJW's in real life, because I don't have the time or privilege to be able to spend all my time *****ing about life. I have a job, family, and other real responsibilities and concerns to handle every day.
