There was no Ur of the Chaldees in Abraham's time. Its possible he was from Urfa in Turkey which is not far from Haran and has a tradition of being the home of Abraham.
The scriptural account says they went from Ur to Haran and lived there before going to Canaan.

Abraham is mythological. There's no evidence he existed. He's just a legendary founder of a nation like many other peoples have, like Romulus to the Romans.

Most likely, because even really devout knowledgeable Jews don't know the exact reasons why circumcision became a thing amongst Jews.
This practice, along with others, like dress, the sabbath, dietary laws, were rules of separation, they were designed to confirm in various ways the unique position of Israel before God, set apart, specifically chosen, keepers of the truth.

Circumcision wasn't unique to the Jews.

Circumcision has ancient roots among several ethnic groups in sub-equatorial Africa, and is still performed on adolescent boys to symbolize their transition to warrior status or adulthood.[1] Circumcision and/or subincision, often as part of an intricate coming of age ritual, was a common practice among Australian Aborigines and Pacific islanders at first contact with Western travellers. It is still practiced in the traditional way by a proportion of the population.

Sixth Dynasty (2345–2181 BCE) tomb artwork in Egypt has been thought to be the oldest documentary evidence of circumcision, the most ancient depiction being a bas-relief from the necropolis at Saqqara (c. 2400 BCE) with the inscriptions reading: "The ointment is to make it acceptable." and "Hold him so that he does not fall".

I think it is more honest to recognize that the Israelites were a Canaanite tribe and their version of monotheism evolved from the Canaanite pantheon.
How could this be if they were separated from Canaan for generations in Egypt ? Of course, along with your atheist ¨experts¨ you reject the Exodus and the Egyptian captivity, and the first Passover.................

It was ONE of the rules of separation. I never said it was solely practiced by the Jews, yet it is still considered primarily a Jewish thing.

They weren't slaves in Egypt and didn't build the pyramids. Any time there was a drought in Canaan people headed for the Nile Delta with their herds. They could walk from Canaan to Egypt in a week. Its only 135 miles and it was all Egyptian controlled territory.

Yes, that parable and passage in Ezekiel used very strong language to portray graphically the utter spiritual and moral degradation of those cities.
The two chapters are the history of Jewish rebellion and what happens when they follow a law other than that of God,

All Muslims are circumcised.
The women, perhaps. You will have to prove that men are,, I don´t believe it.

In fact, the story of an Israeli spy, who was a fighter pilot in the Egyptian air force recounts his danger when it was noticed in the shower that he was circumcised, and how he had to make up a story of a childhood accident to account for it.

From then on they jokingly called him the Jew. They found out later how right they were.

Stupid story and basically dishonest.

Male circumcision is widespread in Islam and accepted as established practice by all Islamic schools of jurisprudence.[3] It is considered a sign of belonging to the wider Islamic community.[4]

Islamic male circumcision is analogous but not identical to Jewish circumcision. Islam is currently the largest single religious group in which the practice is widespread,[4] although circumcision is not mentioned in the Qur'an itself but is mentioned in a hadith and the sunnah. Whether or not it should be carried out after converting to Islam is debated among Islamic scholars.

Arabs were circumcised BEFORE Islam.

Female circumcision is African in origin and is not universally practiced. Its pretty rare in the Gulf States.
