China's New World Map Claims Hawaii and Most of Micronesia

China has been really pushing it lately. They've even been trying to claim Japanese territory, and even maritime areas.
And because I don't know Chinese (I recognize a few symbols from my study of Japanese), to me, it looks as if they are also trying to claim America and parts of Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Given it has translations, though I know China has been involved in territorial disputes recently, it would have been nice to provide more links and more information rather than having us assume their translation of the map is accurate.

"The Study of what Constitutes Chinese Territory is on-going".

It won't let me copy and paste but in short it says that the Chinese propagandists are now claiming Hawaii as historical Chinese territory! LOL!
I wonder how Polynesia is Chinese territory? The article didn't explain why they make the claim. I won't lose any sleep over it.

Anymore it tends to be China saying "this is mine," and disputes following their claims. Last I heard of it, they were involved in disputes between themselves and Japan, trying to claim parts of Japan that Japan considered Japan, and parts that were considered no ones being claimed by China. I won't wont loose sleep over it either, but it still nevertheless makes me wonder what the are up to and what will become of it. It may just be that WWIII will be over Chinese disputes of territory and Muslim extremists trying to force their corrupt and wicked ways upon others. Either way, I can't help but wonder if the Germans are wonder "Dank Gott!! For once it isn't us!"

Well, I do fear if China ever becomes the world's dominant military and economic power somewhere in the future. I really don't see them as altruistic as the western democracies. I feel something in the Chinese group psyche is not as independent and freedom loving as the western group psyche. I do fear them but they don't yet have the muscle. I hope the future does not put us at their mercy.

Since when have Western democracies been about altruism? A man by the name of Mahatmas Gandhi makes me think otherwise. The Revolutions that occurred about 300 years ago makes me think otherwise. Corporations such as the East and West India Companies make me think otherwise. The Banana Wars make me think differently. The recent American war in Iraq makes me think differently.

The western democracies are improving with time and are well ahead of the Chinese leadership. The Chinese government becomes concerned about things like human rights and the environment only when the west puts pressure on them.

Western democracies putting pressure on the Chinese is really nothing more than the kettle calling the pot black. In the West it hasn't even been a full century since we've had a major war amongst ourselves, and in America even today plenty of minorities are still struggling for basic human rights and dignity.

With 3 trillion USD of foreign exchange reserves, they know they can create mayhem in the world and are preparing for it.
With that, they would have to know they can't cause too much trouble because disrupting that debt would gravely hurt their status.

As someone of partial Chinese descent I can confirm that they aren't. While Western democracies aren't perfect by any means, they are light-years ahead of China since China's history and culture is largely based on fear and deception.

By and large the average Chinese lack empathy which is why they can boil dogs alive for "medicine" or watch babies being run over by cars and not do anything. The leadership is even more psychopathic and at times outright evil.

I see democracies (for all their imperfections) as superior to one-party dictatorships. Don't you?
and in America even today plenty of minorities are still struggling for basic human rights and dignity.
I see that as an inaccurate exaggeration. In a democracy, there is the right-wing and left-wing pulls and neither wing is going to be completely happy (but there is no better system I know of).

Yes, but America hardly treats other nations democratically. Case in point, Iraq. We made it so "democratic" that America overthrew their government and installed it's own vision of what they should have.

You can believe that, but it's not an exaggeration.
