Who likes chocolate?

Any favorite chocolate items you prefer or recipes to share?

Here is a gluten-free chocolate brownie recipe. Not that I must be gluten free, but since I've tasted these they are the only brownies I make lately.

Chocolate Almond Butter Brownies

1-16 oz. jar almond butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup honey and 3/4 cup water combined
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup dark chocolate chips

In a large bowl blend almond butter with mixer until smooth, beat in eggs, then add honey, water, and vanilla. Blend in cocoa, salt and soda until combined well. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in a greased 9 x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

These are not overly sweet, but very chocolatey.

I like just plain chocolate, my favorite being El Rey Carnero Superior (73.5%)
Carenero Superior
I buy half a dozen 6.6# boxes at a time.

Am I shilling for them?
Ya! You betcha!

Dark chocolate covered pretzels. I haven't found a brand I didn't like.

We do have this great chocolate store near Fleminton, NJ that covers fresh fruit in dark or milk chocolate. They say it will stay good for 3 days. I never have a problem its gone long before that.

Sounds like good chocolate!
It's great....strong chocko taste, very little bitterness, sweet but not overly so.
But it's best eaten slowly. The full flavor comes out more slowly than other chocolates.
It's also inexpensive at about $12/pound when bought in bulk.

Perhaps not the most refined taste, but I like the Japp/Mars chocolate bar, and Dumle. I suppose I like the mix of caramel and chocolate.

I consider trying out Divine, which is a fair trade chocolate bar.

"Chocolate? Did you say...chocolate? Chocolate?! Chocolate?! CHOCOLAAAAATE!"

Of course, just about anything chocolately is acceptable to me. I ended up getting quite a few chocolate items for my birthday (I haven't finished them all yet). Chocolate covered nuts (pecans, peanuts, doesn't matter) are one of my faves.

My brother and I made a cake for Halloween last year using a combination of recipes obtained from the Internet and our mother. It was a pumpkin pound cake covered with dark chocolate ganache. We made a couple more when Thanksgiving rolled around but used white chocolate ganache instead of dark chocolate. My brother carried one to his place of work where it got rave reviews. I do have to admit it was pretty awesome, although rather soft and we probably could improve its structure by adding another egg to the mix. By the way, making white chocolate ganache can be a pain in the butt.

And don't forget all the antioxidants it must have. I like buying things in bulk...such as chocolate.

I like chocolate, though I don't really crave it much if I don't have any for a while.

My favorite kind is 80-95% dark chocolate. I find it pretty tasty because it doesn't contain much sugar.

I love dark chocolate covered pretzels. I get them at Trader Joe's. Fresh fruit covered in dark chocolate is so good. Nowhere around where I am that I know of to get it, but I've made it myself.

Our family also prefers the darker chocolates that don't contain as much sugar. I don't crave chocolate all the time, but if it is offered I usually don't refuse or refrain from buying some if I'm at Trader Joe's with the great selection of chocolate they carry.
