Just here to fill in some God given info on a few current and past topics.
Read our rules before you do. We take "No Preaching" seriously. This is part of the rules upon signup. The best way to share an opinion without breaking rules is to be aware of debate areas versus other areas and to always express what you are saying as an opinion. Debate areas everyone is allowed to suggest another person may be wrong for given reasons. Every other part of the forum is similar, except that correcting other members is not allowed.

Multiple religions all get equally valued, and we let none of them preach; and if we did it would be a mess impossible to moderate.

I don't want to win a debate. I want to know the similarities between Christians and Jews. What early Christians copied from or, brought with them as far as their religious services are concerned. Do they or did they both have altars? Are sermons common to both, etc.? If you know help me out.

Some things to get you started: Jews have a liturgy. Catholics have a liturgy. Jews have kiddish. Eucharist is a little bit like kiddish. Jews have communal eating. Eucharist is a little like that, and so is mass. Jews have holidays, but Catholics have different holidays. Jews pray after meals. Catholics pray before meals. Jews have prayer shawls and talit. Catholics do not. There are some exceptions but no Jews do not have altars. Catholic altars are not technically altars for sacrifices, although they do transform bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ. Jews wear black. Catholics do not generally wear a particular color and may wear white. Jewish men typically wear hats as a rule at least when they read scripture, recite it, sing hymns or pray. This is not a rule for catholic men.

Welcome

I look forward to seeing what counts as God given info
The Ark of the Covenant rediscovered in Israel, in 1982 underneath Jeremiah's Grotto by Ronald Wyatt. 6 Levites died on their way to remove ? It was buried underneath the spot where Jesus was crucified. Blood was found on the top, taken and examined, found alive with 23X and 1Y Chromosome. Jesus was Adam. Past Lives are real...
