Christian Teens Beheaded

JAKARTA, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Men in black clothes and masks beheaded three teenage Christian girls on Saturday in eastern Indonesia as they walked to school near the Muslim town of Poso, officials said.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono condemned the killings, which he described as "sadist and inhuman crimes", and called an emergency security meeting with his vice-president, as well as military officials and police.

I'm glad to see the "authorities" are seriously condemning the action. What usually makes me sick is the indifference of the governments.

Torturing and murdering children to please your God. Even if such a God existed, if this is what pleases him I want nothing of it. This is one of the sickest articles I have ever read.

That sort of s*** strikes up a deep rage. Someone should through those f***s in a harsh city like New York with only thier wits. Let the people there tear them appart.

Well, at least it looks like people are taking this seriously. They seem as disgusted as we are.

but what of the many? I don't see a few radical islamic socialists waging war on the world, I see many radical islamic socialists waging war on the world. Many. And the Arab Street is silent while the rest of the world tries to deal with it. It's a pity. Thankfully, there does seem to be a quiet, but growing number of muslims who have the courage to oppose radical islam, not just in meaningless words and statements and press-releases, but in actions.

During the Cold War, most Americans did not organize or attend Anti-Soviet rallies. Did that mean that most Americans condoned the Soviet Union or its brutalities? The fact that most Muslims world wide have not publically condemned the actions of a few does not mean that they support those actions.

lmfao... Come on now. That is ridiculous and you know it. The entire country was up in arms over the Soviet Union and were very interested in winning the cold war. Muslims don't seem at all interested in fighting terrorism. You know how I can tell? Because they aren't doing a damn thing about it.

Now, I know that they have less power and less guns and less ability. I understand that. But, the world over, poll after poll, Muslims seem to think that its' OK to kill Westerners and Jews. It's a scary reality. Pretending like it's just a few crazy people is absurd, if not blatantly dishonest.

Yes and no. Depends on how the muslim community reacts after the incident. If they are indifferent or flippant I would hold them at fault as a community. They are in a strong position to identify the murders and have a moral obligation to do so if they have such information.

Let me give you a parallel. Someone sent me this link on a Jehovah's witness kindom hall.
http://www.silentlambs.org/education/dateline_trans.cfm

In the article a crime is committed but according to kindom hall protocol the elder's were to be contacted first and than a decison was to be rendered as to what to do. Without going into too much detail you can see from the article that the member is saying that some things are reported and some are not. Now assuming this is true, I would hold THE ENTIRE kindom hall responsible for knowning such things went on and not aiding authorities.

Same is true of the catholic church in the USA. Everytime a priest commits a sex crime and the congregation and members cover it up or don't report despite knowing I personally see THE ENTIRE church at fault to a lesser degree but still at fault. Not if some of them did not know than they did not know.

Somewhere in that country a Muslim group or mosque knows something. If they do and do not report the information in my mind they are guilty of a cover-up and share some of the responsblity in the children's death and by being silent propogate future religious killings as acceptable.

I agree, but let us (you, hope) (me,pray) :D that the moderates (like two of our Islamic friends on this forum who denounced the bombings in India) will learn to stand up and be counted. They are becoming aware that they are being used. Let us hope that that mentality spreads.:)

I'm unaware of these polls you refer to. Could you provide some links?

The polls I've seen have been in newspapers and magazines. I don't have any links for them. I may be able to dig up some links to controversial polls taken in Iraq, England, France, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, but you could do those searches just as easily as I could. However, this isn't a debate forum, so I wouldn't bother.

I would hope Michel, but I honestly feel these people are too far gone. It wasn't so long ago, that Muslim extremists were massacaring Fellow muslims in Algeria, I think because those massacared supported a moderate Gov, whilst the extremists were intent on a Radical Muslim State.
