Correct me please if i am wrong, but It was my understanding that the RCC does not believe in continuing revelation. If in fact the pope was speaking or bringing forth new doctrine, how would that not constitute continuing revelation? Why would there be a need for any system, no matter how difficult it is to "process," when there can be no revelation. If you say that he can speak in those terms without the claims of revelation, How could it be from God at all? Also, is what you are saying is that the Catholic church does not implement things unless the people liek it and adhere to it first? Is that how God operates? by saying "We'll try it first and see how it works out, and if they like the commandments, then we'll keep them."??

exactly, if it happened, the world wouldnt even notice, what the world needs and what it is actually able to recieve are two different things.
Thank you for serving my demonstration of this, religion and reverance is crumbleing, if a new prophet did arrive he would wind up in a nut house rather than being listened to.
Look at your own first instincts.
