So what I hear is that in order to be a Christian I need to have a rewrite of John 17 as follows
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Me, the hour is come; glorify Me that I also may glorify me:
2 As I hast given me power over all flesh, that I should give eternal life to as many as I hast given me.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know me the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom is the same person.
4 I have glorified me on the earth: I have finished the work which I gavest me to do.
5 And now, Me, glorify thou me with my own self with the glory which I had with me before the world was.
6 I have manifested my name unto the men which I gavest me out of the world: mine they were, and I gavest them me; and they have kept my word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever I hast given me are of me.
8 For I have given unto them the words which I gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from me, and they have believed that I didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which I hast given me; for they are mine.
10 And all mine are mine, and mine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Me, keep through my own name those whom I hast given me, that they may be one, as I am one with myself.
If the 12 are to be one as the Son and Father are also a bit further down we find
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be cone in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
So the core nature and oneness of Christ and His father is what all believers are to become. So a billionity????
While not a rare belief in Christian circles it is hardly a universal doctrine and not one taught in the Bible. It is found in the creeds.
As for their being many gods. Christ shared a bit on this
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Now if he says this and I agree, how is this a lie from Satan?
The Prophet did not attack the truth, he called out the doctrines of men masquerading as the gospel.
Truth in love hope all is well....
You have a good question, you need to rethink it!
First... Baptism (Immerses) us into the Body of Jesus! The Great Commission... 28:19Go MAKE Disciples of all nations BAPTIZING.."!
Truth in love Clearly Baptism makes Disciples! NOTE...
Truth in love note they made the Disciples with all of God' AUTHORITY! In the Name of the Father... With all the Authority of the "Father"; Speaking for the FATHER in God The Fathers NAME..., Representing the FATHER Make Disciples! Same with the Son.. "With all the Authority of the Son" representing the Son SPEAKING FOR the Son make Disciples baptizing! It's the same with the Holy Spirit; Representing God the Holy Spirit make Disciples of all nations Baptizing...!
NOTE....... "Jesus' is Brother to Disciples"!
Matthew 12 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.' .. IF...
Truth in love if Jesus is your BROTHER then logic would say God is your father! Baptism IMMERSES us INTO the Holy Body of Jesus! IF.....
If you are IN the Body of Jesus then God is your father! LOOK....
3000 were ADDED to the Holy Body of Jesus the first day of Pentecost BY BAPTISM!
Acts 2:40
With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Jesus became BROTHER to 3000 the first day of Pentecost.... With the AUTHORITY of God 3000 were Baptized!
Truth in love I said all this (above) to get you to this point! It is... Baptism ADDS US to the Holy Body of Jesus; Communion KEEPS US in his holy Body! THINK: If you don't eat you die!
LOOK..
55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
