I believe Christians must be sinless to be saved.
The Bible speaks of faith,
but what does the Bible mean by faith?
Faith means keeping the law of God, James 2:26.
What is the law of God here?
The law of God are loving God and loving your neighbor, Mark 12:30-31.
What does loving God mean?
It means to keep the law of God, John 14:15.
Who will enter Paradise?
Those who are sinless, 1John 3:6.
Those who are perfect, Matthew 5:48.
Who will enter Hell?
Those who sin, Revelation 21:8.
Now someone will argue:
"But Apostle Paul said, law cannot safe you"
My answer:
Paul's letters are difficult to understand, 2Peter 3:15-16.
What Paul is saying is that the ceremonial law cannot safe you.
Paul had enemies who taught the ceremonial law is still valid, and he rebukes them, Galatians 5:4.
But about the moral law Paul clearly says every Christian must keep it to be saved,
see 1Corinthians 6:9-10 and Ephesians 5:5.
And what Paul is also saying is that you need Jesus to keep the law of God,
thus you cannot be saved by accepting Jesus by your mouth but not keeping the law,
neither can you be saved by trying to keep the law and denying Jesus.
And yes, a Christian can sin,
but a Christian who sins repents,
and true repentance means,
never doing the sin again.
