True. What I find the most interesting is that apparently the best species we know of which will survive in space are bugs. So there is a high probability that we will end up in a Starship Troopers scenario. Hopefully they don't end up being massive camel spiders...

You should check out their interpretations of the verses they use to justify shunning. It would be cool if you could give me your interpretation of those verse.

I believe the indications are that some are friendly and some are not. So they are not much different from us.
