Christians, what do you think about Islam?

I will just say that Islam as I understand it is not for me and leave it at that.
Muslims on the other hand are a different story. Although I know no Muslims personnally, there are many on this forum I would love to meet. It is just after 4 a.m. here but I would like to say something about a few RF Muslims before I try to get some more sleep. Maybe come back later and do a more complete version.

.lava, I love her for her obvious compassion toward humankind. If she knew how and had the power she would bring all mankind together in love.

TashaN, I would love to meet him and take him fishing or something. He trys to come across as the young warrior sometimes but the more you read his post the more you can feel his compassion. I believe we could have some very interesting conversations

Einstein, knowledgeable with a sense of humor.

I have to quit now and get some more sleep. I am not doing these people justice and there are many more I would like to say something about. I will certainly come back to this later.

All you Christians out there that are hating on us and our Muslim brothers take another look at your bible and you will see that it says were all created equal and were all loved by one god

so stop hating and start loving no matter what happens

all you Muslim haters out there and think Muslim people are violent and the Christians are more peaceful read on...

there are good and bad people in a religon who think there worshiping god but there not and there are many of those in Christianity than Islam

couple of 100 years ago when christinaty rained supream and islam was not that big in numbers christians were going all offensive trying to get more land and exband

they wanted to spread the "words of god" and they did it by brutul force and killed those who would not join on the spot saying that the devil is in cntrol of them

Islam however was going defensive and didn't plan to make any offensive moves or plan any attacks

they attacked those who attacked them

they protected there land and there people

they lived in peace with there neighbors and allies

and that is the muslims i know and love

that is what it says in the Islamic holy book and there is no need to kill one another

We must follow in there footsteps and not strive to hurt one another

Islam is a peaceful religion and we are peaceful people who want what belongs to us and nothing else

Rasoolullah said: "Surely, from among the most noble of you, are those best in character". Honour and greatness do not lie in Knowledge, wealth, or beauty. Allah does not judge people by their color, or their family name, but by their conduct.

The following was written on the sword of Nabee: "Forgive one who does harm to you; join him who cuts ties with you, do good to those who harm you, and speak the truth even if its against yourself".

I don't follow any particular denomination.

I believe that Islam is greatly misunderstood by a large number of people. At it's heart Islam is a religion of peace and beauty and I wish more people could see that.
