Christians who say they are not Christian

I think this makes a lot of sense. It's my same thought process when I hear atheists are arrogant know-it-alls (or similar), or that Australians are awesome...ahem...

Anywhoos, my only comment would be that no-one is forced to try and correct that image. It probably helps the perception of the group if they do, but it's entirely up to each person.

I think Christianity can have a negative connotation, so maybe those folks are backing away from the label. Anne Rice did that type of thing. She kept her beliefs but stopped calling herself Christian.

Although I am not ashamed of the label "Christian", I prefer to call myself a "Follower of Yeshua (Jesus)" or newly a "disciple of Yeshua (Jesus). There are some reasons for this, but nothing I will go into right now.
