Mr Spinkles
Mr
Druidus--
I agree in principle that people should not be judged by how they dress. I've had plenty of friends who dressed in the "goth" style, and they were not anti-social or criminal at all (though that was clearly the impression that they were trying to give). However, if I were to find myself in a bad area of town and needing directions, I would choose not to stop and ask those nice young gentlemen wearing "thuggish" clothes. They could be the nicest people in the world, but how am I supposed to know that? I think that prejudice can be a real asset in certain situations, especially when it is an accurate prejudice.
