I respect the Counstitution.

I believe that no one should be forced to do anything against their religious counscience. They should be reassigned so they don't have to do anything their religious purposes.

As far as I go, they can lock me up. I won't do anything against my religion, even if they kill me.
But would you take on a job which had duties you'd refuse to do?
She should'a just quit.
That's how one avoids doing objectionable things.
Instead she wanted to keep her job without doing her job, but still being paid.

Her right to not against her conscience end when doing so infringes on the Constitutional rights of others.

Kim Davis is a villain. Her campaign of hypocritical self-righteousness has attracted gun-toting anarchist fanatics and Dominionists who have their own sinister agenda.

The truly dark side of the pro-theocracy Christian Right is rearing its ugly head.

But our Counstitution gives the right to religious freedom.
But the whole point of that is the government cannot impose or interfere with an individuals religious beliefs. This women is the government imposing beliefs on individuals. And she can't do that. She is not exercising her right to religious freedom, the government has no right to impose religious doctrine. What she is trying to do, she is denying religious freedom to others.

I cant call her hero for religious grounds. Nevertless i find her brave woman for standing up to her own beliefs! Well done Kim Davis!

I guess we should go congratulate Hitler then....

Heck Charles Manson should get a statue he died for what he believed in!

Just because someone sincerely believes something that doe snot make them good or evil.

The 9/11 bombers where definitely strong believers in Radical Islam, that does not make them or Radical Islam any more or less right.

She's an imbecile. Of course people should have religious freedom, but if your faith prevents you from performing the duties that you're paid to do, then you shouldn't hold that position.
Religious freedom shouldn't mean being paid to not do your job, otherwise someone could apply for a bartender job, then announce that they're a muslim and thus won't be serving alcohol to anyone. So, out of respect towards religious freedom, should their employer continue to pay them anyway as they stand idly behind the counter as the place loses business?
Besides, denying others their right shouldn't itself be a right.

The Counstitution protects the right of religion. No exceptions. PERIOD.

However, accomodations can be made.
Nobody denied her of her religious freedom.

Religious accomodations are given by employers all the time, even in the military. However, you have a clouded view of what "accomodation" means. For example, in the Army there are regulations on what type of headwear that is to be worn with certain uniforms. Any other headwear would be a violation. However, the Army will make an accomodation for members who are Jewish, and will allow them to wear their yamaka while in uniform. However, a Jewish soldier cannot use his/her religion as a reason to not do the job they swore to do. They can't say "Even though I'm an Infantryman, my religious belief says I cannot ever pick up a gun and kill someone. You must accomodate me within the Infantry while in combat by providing me a safe place to hide until the fighting has stopped."

If her beliefs prevent her from doing her job 100%, she needs to resign. That way, afterwards, she can stand on her rooftop with a megaphone and loudly profess her stance against gay marriage. But she won't do that. She wants to use her job as a platform for 15 minutes of fame. That's all it is.

But her religion teaches she can't be part of same sex-marriage. I suggest that an accommodation be made, so she doesn't have to marry same-sex couples by marrying NO couples, hetrosexual/straight or gay.
She's an elected official whose duty includes issuing marriage licenses. If she doesn't want to do it personally, she would still need to delegate the duty to one of her deputy clerks.

Instead, she's tried to forbid her deputies from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples even if they want to.

She's a modern-day George Wallace, only less important.

Villain ...she shouldn't take a job in which she is unwilling to perform ALL of the required duties.

Today Kim Davis sat in her office with the door closed while the deputy clerks did the job. She is not a hero nor villain, she is irrelevant and best forgotten.

I understand where she is coming from, but she is wrong. There is a separation of Church and State, and since she is a State position, she has a duty to perform, regardless of religious beliefs. I can just about guarantee that she cherry picks which OT commandments she follows...the moment she eats a pork chop, bacon or some ham her credibility is shot to hell.
