CNN screws up and plays the wrong clip.

This doesn't answer the question.
There is a definition of what a fascist is. Trump is more and more saying things that fit that definition. Is he a perfect fascist, and pure? No. But the fact he is citing fascist ideas, and these appeal to MAGA followers, is troubling to a democracy that has already been driven to political violence by the man's lies. More and more rational and lucid members of the military have expressed concerns about Trump and his mindset. The criminal candidate thought these men were capable when he hired them, and only once they have seen for themselves who he is have they issued warnings to America.

What has Harris said that fit a fascist definition? None of you conservatives can articulate anything.

I’m not a conservative.

Also, you didn’t answer the question, either.

Excellent performance on RF.

I do agree with what she said about Trump being a fascist. Both she and Kelly are correct and their assessment of what Trump has said, and what he will do if elected president. What Trump is saying more and more fits the definition of fascist. To my mind there’s a duty to poknt this out and discuss it. Let the criminal candidate defend the categorization. Let him defend his disturbing behavior and claims.

What I find disturbing about your position is that you seem to think that it is off-limits to point out that disturbing and questionable statements by a person running for president. It’s not off-limits. Trump is a disturbed man, and saying things that strongly deviate from the traditional methods of campaigning for office. It’s unacceptable to protest and complain about characterizations that are in fact. Trump is more and more saying things that fit the definition of fascist.

Now you could argue that Trump is just being a performer , and just saying things to get attention and votes, but then the question is when do we take him seriously? And we can’t know when he’s joking or if he’s being serious then what risk do we take supporting him at all?

The problem is that it is highly hypocritical for Republicans to complain about some Democrats at times pointing out that Trump acts like and appears to be a fascist while saying nothing about the endless name calling of Trump in the same vein. One has not grounds to complain about something on that the opposition does if one's own actions are ten times worse.

There's a certain economy in calling someone a communist, a Marxist and a fascist. Covering all the bases there.
I think Tapper has gotten tired of the corporate management at CNN and it seems the LA times and WAPO are suffering similar problems.
Jon Stewart would have done better, but well done Tapper.

I think I’ve figured out what Trump means by ‘the weave’. Just vomit up a stream of random, meaningless associations and at a certain point people will realise you have no idea what you mean but a certain demographic (including Trump) will think it sounds clever.

Yup and something he said in there connects with some fear or insecurity you have so he must be on your side. Plays well if you never think beyond that. It has the added satisfaction that when others tell you how incoherent he was, you can think, they're dumb and he spoke directly to me.

Just like Bret Baier did, but Baier apologized. I wonder if Tapper or CNN will apologize for this.

They not only ran the wrong clip, they did it multiple times.

Almost like they were doing it on purpose.
But he did apologise. Have you not watched it, he keeps apologising.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
