feels that my two examples at least
are nothing but random coincidence.
(and worthy of derision as examples of notable coincidence)

Something that is seemingly more significant, at least on a world-wide scale:
The moon is approximately four hundred times larger than the sun, in terms of it's visibile size from Earth, and the moon is approximately four hundred times closer to Earth than the Sun. When both are considered together, their apparent size is approximately 0.5 degrees of an arc wide.
Both of those facts result in us being able to experience the variety of eclipses that we do.

You need to lean more towards the Lincoln/Kennedy coincidences. There are just too many for people to brush away and will lend an incredible amount of weight to this thread and possibly any threads on reincarnation.

right. If the moon appeared any bigger in relation to the sun,
we wouldn't see the ring.
and if it appeared much smaller,
it wouldn't actually cover (or eclipse) the face of the sun at all.
I can see that. All bodies are just the proper distance and size,
to give us the unique and beautiful vision of what we call
a solar eclipse.

And Sept. 11th, 2001 was on a Tuesday. Tuesday is named after the Norse deity Tyr, the god of combat. Coincidence?
Tyr is also likely derived from the Germanic Tuisto, a deity who's associated with the mythic three-sons trope common in Indo-Euro' mythologies. There were three planes hijacked that day. Coincidence?
