Pepsi, unless it's Coke with Lime, I like that stuff... but I rarely drink soda anymore anyway...

I can tell you without doubt that Coke is the preferred drink of the wise, desert fathers of Egypt!
Picture it...Giza, Egypt. Looking out over the desert with the waves of heat rising up off the sand. Then off in the distance comes slowly, a shimmering figure. As it gets closer you can see that it is an old desert father with his donkey. He speaks to your companion in ancient Arabic. Your companion looks to you and says, " You want a Coke?" After you stop laughing you say, " Yeah, right." The old man reaches into the saddle bag on his tired old donkey and pulls out an ice cold Coke! You drink and feel refreshed. Man that was good.
This actually happened when I was in Egypt a long time ago. It really blew me away. The old man must have had dry ice in the saddle bag keeping the soda ice cold. I often thought of writing to Coke to tell them to do a commercial just like that.
To heck with the wise desert fathers. I drink Pepsi!

I like Pepsi much better than Coke. Coke has too much sugar in it for me and just tastes far too sweet...besides, Pepsi has more caffiene and the way I run on fumes...I need it.:jiggy:
As for Dr. Pepper...I won't drink that stuff at all! It is also made in Iowa and I used to work for American Bottling Company (Dr. Pepper/7up) and the pure SMELL of the chemicals when mixing for Dr. Pepper was enough to sicken me! I also can't bear to drink any diet soda now either because I KNOW the toxic smell of chemicals put in diet sodas! GROSS!

I feel betrayed on this issue being as how I was brought up to be a pepsiholic and then my dad starts drinking coke. I have found that grape fierce gatorade is euphoric when I am working towards the end of the day though. That is why I felt like a school kid when I found that gatorade in the powder form at wallyworld. Now I have a gallon of grape fierce gatorade in my freezer to take to work

I bet you have never heard of Moxie - the original carbonated beverage. I stock up when I'm in New England. That, my friends, is absolutely the best.
I voted for Pepsi because that is what Gail loves and I want her choice to win. I drink diet RC cola at home and hate both diet Pepsi and Coke.
Have you ever tried some of those coffee syrups (vanilla, raspberry) in your cola? Um um good!!! (comes with splenda versions too! - a diet cola and splenda syrup!!!! - no calaries and soooo sweet!!)
