The Coca-Cola vendors gave us free samples of thier new product, Black-Cherry Vanilla Coke at work today. I thought it was very good. But heads up to all Vanilla Coke lovers, the new Black-Cherry Vanilla Coke will replace it, so stock up if you need to.

There's a cherry vanilla Dr.Pepper outs that's drinkable as long as you avoid the diet version.

Eeewwww! I hate all kinds of coke except the original... Hmm, does this make me a coke fundamentalist? ;)

Not to be a downer or anything but isn't that how all drug dealers get people hooked (giveing away the first one free).

The only thing in coke that's addictive as far as I know is the caffeine... which you can get from plenty of other things. I'm trying to stop drinking coke and switch to tea. I still get caffeine, but it doesn't have as much sugar in it.

And to put things in perspective, ChrisP, oranges are pretty much all acid, too. ;)

Such lucrative and unlikely industry! Who would have believed that people would pay good money for a half-cents worth of flavored water? Are the mass of men hopeless sybarites? Is sugar addictive?

I'm baffled -- and will be unlikely to form any opinion of the specific product in question.

I've always been a coke fundamentalist, but I've been trying to quite for good. Just remember: The more words in a soda's name, the worse it will be.
For example:
Coke - Good
Diet Coke - Not as good
Diet Vanilla Coke - Kind of gross
Black Cherry Vanilla Coke - Oh God no...

Sounds very good, what flavor is more prominent? Black cherry of vanilla...
The black cherry at first, then the vanilla becomes tasted, and is what the after-taste is more like. One thing I can't figure out, I can go to some gas stations, get two 20 oz bottles for 2 dollars, and at one, one bottle for 79 since, but the one I work at has no specials on them. 1.37 reg. price.
