Coming out the closet

Hi all new to the forums here so heeey :) ...... I've been part of the Christian faith now for around 3 months I converted from Islam. So far only my partner and few family members know of my conversion from one faith to the other. So I'm sort of coming out the closet on here... I work and live in a large Muslim community And that's one of the reason for joining these forums I wanted to share my new faith with all but need to learn to do so in a respectful and peaceful way... Some of my biggest sins are my anger and my proudness...and when sharing my faith with the Muslims in my community it can often turn hostile due to the rules of apostasy in Islam and at times I struggle to turn the other cheek and I bite back in defense and this is my biggest fear causing harm to someone else. But with more guidance and knowledge from more experienced Christians plus with the grace of God I hope to become stronger and over come my fears and share my faith with the other Muslims in my life in a peaceful way.... And as jesus teaches turn the other cheek. I believe the word of jesus should be spread to everyone but I also believe we are all equal and should be free to live are lives no matter what are beliefs are Without fear of are safety ...

What? Me worry?
Hey, Spit. I have found that those that feel they have to defend their faith usually have little to defend.

Hey, Spit. I have found that those that feel they have to defend their faith usually have little to defend.

You could probably extend that to 'faithlessness' as well, I reckon.
There's reasonable defence (eg. Correcting misconceptions) and there's compensating.
