Communion and the Church, Temple, Shrine

is the thing of worship a physical place and time or a state of mind/spirit/will transcending a fixed place? wherever the mind is, there the body too? is the body entrenched, buried in the being of the sought after holiness?
is it better to be in a physical church, temple, shrine, mosque and thinking about fishing, or would it be better to be fishing and contemplating, meditating on the divine, holy, wonderous?
obviously love and/hate can be practiced in the same abode......but a house divided against itself will fall, or as sun-tzu said...........

Just rambling but honestly, it is easier for me to touch God in a place of worship than out fishing.
I find the Divine the easiest while laying in the dirt in the alley.

Well, God (and I use that term loosely) forbid that I try to get you or anyone else to go to church!
My preferred house of worship is the temple a couple hours from here.
We don't have a Hindu temple locally. Even if we did, it would be hard for me to go.
I found the Divine was willing to meet me in the alley.
That being said, my house is covered in religious stuff... shrines, artwork, etc. I've turned my dining room into a library, and about 90% of the books are religious. We've got a few rooms set aside for sacred activities. So, I feel lucky that, even though I'm stuck at home, it's a good home.
easier is not an absolute in order to go with god?

No but I like to go to church. It's convenient and helpful to me.
