I hate the situation my brother in law has got himself into. He's fine on medication but has been without for almost a year. It has essentially cost him his way of life, having lost several good paying jobs (he's self employed). Lost his car, and is due to be evicted from his appointment before Christmas. (The eviction notice came while he was in hospital)

We are trying to get him to France but brexit rules only allow him up to 3 months unless he gets a visa. But he won't apply for one. Chances are he will be homeless by Christmas time and there is nothing we xan do about it.

His parents washed their hands of him years ago and will not talk about him or consider him moving back with them.

Hubby and I are both stressed to the hilt.

I went into town today

And they have already put up some Christmas decorations

I know this is a minor thing to get upset about, but it's not even November

Too soon!

I hated that about England too. And once Christmas is over it's time for them to push Easter

That's such a miserable situation... Why won't he apply for a visa?
I hate hsters
What's a hster? (I imagine this could be hamster or hipster, and don't want to assume...)

That's how it is, here, too.

Hobby Lobby is the worst. They start pushing Christmas in July.

A pet peeve, religious folks who hate atheists in general. Though it does tell me much about their personality it's not really worth knowing
Yeah, I never understood how someone can hate another over a belief (or lack thereof). One can dislike what another believes or doesn't, sure, but does that justify hating someone?

Go ahead! Air your grievances here! Any of them!

I hate autumn. It just gets colder and colder...
It's too early to air grievances!
Festivus is 2 months away.
But all of you are on my list....oh, I will have grievances galore!
Ya pony petting, batter beating, flower fluffing,
pillow pounding, cow cuddling, Muenster mavens!

Several reasons.
He'll have to dig out a couple of documents, passport, birth certificate, marriage and divorce papers.
His printer is on the blink
Basically he is too stressed to cope with it.
I can understand that...

It just stinks, because in this case it hinders his ability to have a less stressed life.

I hate some technology, like the solar-powered and radio-controlled watch I have that sometimes changes automatically on BST changes and sometimes, like today, didn't. And with a manual to wade through to rectify this - not that successful this time but managed to bodge it - so what happens when I lose the manual! And this is true of so much technology now - being dependent on a manual, when it isn't obvious how to do some things. But then of course I had the luxury of living through an age when buttons and knobs were not thought of as extravagances.

Why the **** do I need a QR code to open a pedestrian door in a car park? Not working? No problem - press the button to be put through to our 24 hour QR reader helpline. I feel like an electron in a piece of software...

(see - bit of continuity. No beds this time).
