He plagiarized the bible.

His only sources was the bible and oral history from the bible.

The fact he used previous mythology shows no divine inspiration at all.

:biglaugh:

Nice! what great methodology, some guy who is plagairizing pervious mythology almost 2000 years in the past has historical credibiliy

Please dude, that is embarrassing.

We have direct evidence, we have factual evidence of their Canaanite heritage.

Moses has no historicity as ever existing, and he factually did not exist as written. There is not one word in the koran that is accurate here. Nor the bible the koran was plagiarized from.

Israelites evolved from displace Canaanites and other Semitic speaking people who factualy used Canaanite mythology, deities, pottery, and alphabet.

Maybe you dont understand the meaning of "factual" or plagairized.

He plagiarized the bible for what reason? To bring additional does and dont does? There are extra does and dont does that arent in bible but in quran you know? what kind of a motive is this? Do you think somebody would sit to write a book for 23 years? the guy waited for 23 years to complete 'his stolen mythology'. What kind of a slow stealing is it? Does it sound logical to you that you will wait for 23 years to build the main text of your doctirine while it is already out there waiting to be stolen for 2000 years? and how come in that book you happen to still give legitimacy to many previous prohpets and books heard and unheard, in practice or not?
This isnt a thread to discuss quran or muhammed. you asked me how i understand moses exists and i gave you my reasons.

Stop.

We are dealing with history here. NOT your personal apologetic wishes and wants.

In the geographic place and time, the bible was wel known in muhammads communities.

People on the outside of the cave knew this mythology verbatim, before the dude went in one.

and I think you are too underaged to have the ability to etiquette correctly.

I think your religiously uneducated and biased only following pseudohistory and apologetics, but this does not further anything historical with any credibility.

You refuse to learn because of your bias and closed mind. If you fail to open your mind to what is known, that places you in a class of fundamentalism.

Do you wish to learn history and advance your knowledge, or remain ignorant?

Right, I am religiously uneducated.. I am searching something here, remember? to educate myself? as long as you permit it and when you stop dragging the issue to your areas of interest? This is what I am doing right?
when you refuse the religion all together..you lose the chance to search it. makes sense?

I refuse to learn because of my bias and closed mind? Okaay and what is your role in this? you are my teacher? who gave you that responsibility? or even the obligation, since it is apparent at the moment that it is no fun to you just as much as it isnt to me?

Look my dear, I like to search into things that I am curious about. Can you handle at least that much of fact?

That fine.

But you already admitted you believe in things that are not true, and wish to believe something someone with no credibility 1400 years ago said, who is known to plagiarize mythology.

Really the only thing to debate is how much of a fundamentalist you are, because youi cannot pour water into a glass with a hole in the bottom. You refuse education and knowledge in favor of ancient mens mythology.

Okaay and what is your role in this?

To fill my glass, and the glasses of those who thirst for credible knowledge.

To learn the finer points of what is believed to have happened that devoloped these books.

Proper interpretation through cultural and physical anthropology, which places the verses you claim as historical, into proper context.

Alright, alright, I admit that already if it is gonna give you some pseudo peace...or some sort of peace for sometime.

There is nothing to debate there. I have no problem with being a fundamentalist. Please check the word etymology for fundamental. It is just the poor word was given bad reputation because of the religious phobia. But without the fundamentals of a topic, you arent really into that topic. I wish I could be the fundamentalist of many topics. For sure, I would like to be a religious fundamentalist since that would mean being rather close to the "foundation" which is god. :)

Anyway, before you go mad again, we better stop ruining the thread. This thread has a totally different subject if you have noticed.

your glass with the hole and water analogy is rather good. I liked it.

.

Not mad at all.

Dont like seeing history perverted when credible knowledge is at hand.

The word is highly misused and vague, I agree.

But it was not misused when it discusses avoiding real history for pseudohistory.
