It is so predictable how anytime you criticize a Democrat politician, you are met with nonstop WhatAboutTrumpism.

I think it's entirely possible to be critical of Biden, and still gob-smacked at the hypocrisy of Trump apologists suddenly concerned about fact-checking Presidents.
That level of partisanship might have real consequence in 2024.

What's actually more predictable is the attempt to subvert any nuanced discussion about pretty much anything, something too many people seem to be all about these days.

All you need is love.
The problem is anything you claim Biden has done wrong; Trump did it with bells on.

This, in my view, reiterates what @We Never Know was saying in the OP of his thread, "Party indoctrinated." And I think it's utterly hypocritical and dishonest to criticize and make fun of the present president when his predecessor was just as bad, but they don't criticize him for it. I think that in itself speaks volumes about someone's personal character if they're morally inconsistent like that.

Well , you forgot the 3 and the 9.

The Full List Of Every Lie Biden Has Told As President: 139 And Counting

Typos can happen to anyone.

Do you really misunderstand your own OP so badly?

Nothing I wrote was a typo, in any sense. It doesn't take a 'mere' lie to make a bottomless Pinocchio, but instead the repeated claim of that lie. Biden didn't earn this one 'because he lied', but rather made the same lie repeatedly.

It's a low bar, but one that was LITERALLY created due to the ongoing and incessant mistruths spoken by Trump which made 'normal' tracking of lies ineffectual. People basically just tune out claims of lying when there are so many occurring. It becomes white noise.

So instead, constant repeating of the same lie (deliberate skewing of a narrative) was the new bar. Trump cleared this new bar 56 times. Personally, I find it pretty damning that Biden has now cleared it, but my simple question to you was 'How informative do you believe the Bottomless Pinocchio is?'

It's a question you are yet to answer. So?

Biden cleared nothing.

It's not my problem If you want to just ignore the clear and documented facts out there and pretend he dosent compulsively lie.

'cleared nothing'?
And avoiding my simple question again?

1) The Bottomless Pinocchio is a bar which Biden has now 'cleared'. Which is bad. He's told the same lie enough that it's been rated a Bottomless Pinocchio. In no way am I defending his BS.

2) How informative do you believe the Bottomless Pinocchio is?

When did you and other Trump supporters start worrying so much about a president's personality and character? I'll confess that I find all of the arrogant finger-pointing from you and other Trump fans rather hilarious, not to mention incredibly hypocritical and dishonest. I hate to break this to you and to other Trump supporters, but none of you have the moral ground to stand on to point a judgmental finger at President Biden, not after all these years of supporting Trump. But go ahead and keep posting threads like this one, because each thread and each subsequent post further exposes your hypocrisy and the hypocrisy of the other Trump loyalists.

Very informative. Wanna know why?

Just watch him on public news feeds saying all of it himself.

Can't get more informative than that.

What makes you think I'm a Trump supporter?? Are you clairvoyant? Can you read minds now all of a sudden?

I suggest you asking yourself the very same questions and take a good look in the mirror.

Contrary to what I've seen of you, I criticize both Biden and Trump. Go ahead and link your threads and posts where you criticize Trump in the same manner you criticize President Biden. I'll wait. And if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck.

Your full of it.

I've made several posts in the past where I announced my intention not to vote for Trump.

I really don't care about Trump as he's no longer president , unlike others continually obsessing over him, whereas I expressed my interest in the SAM party.

Then why do you only seem interested in the one Bottomless Pinocchio he's been awarded, and not the 56 Trump got?
That's what's got me beat, and was the point I made in my first post in this thread.

Ic , what you mean now.

Well I'll go back into time. 2018 to be precise.

Washington Post Introduces ‘Bottomless Pinocchio’ Factcheck Level for Trump

Trump had 14.

Biden has yet to complete his term, which is why I congratulated him on his first Bottomless Pinocchio, as he's well on his way to contest Trump Bottomless Pinocchio score upon completing his presidency.

He's got quite a list already built , awaiting to be repeated.

He ended up with 56, but regardless...let's try a different approach.

Leaders lie, sometimes deliberately and sometimes by ommission. Sometimes they make an honest mistake, but let it stand. Sometimes they lean into the mistake due to political utility. This seems true of all leaders.

But if we accept repeated lies, if we refuse to sanction or call out politicians who lie in a repeated and orchestrated fashion, then we'll get increasingly divisive and deconstructive leadership/politics.

Whilst I wouldn't vote GOP in any general sense (despite being a centrist) I have concerns about Biden's fitness for another term on a few levels, and this doesn't improve that.

I also wince when thinking who the Dems might replace him with.

Ultimately, I think US voters deserve simple (but VERY impactful and controversial) election reforms that would improve the ability of third parties to have meaningful voices. Unfortunately I see that as very unlikely (and it might be informed by my Australian bias).

And he's not even president anymore. He's not even a nominee.

It is so predictable how anytime you criticize a Democrat politician, you are met with nonstop WhatAboutTrumpism.

He was the last President, so it makes sense he would be part of a lot comparisons.

Plus, he is still highly influential in the current politics and is likely going to try to run again.

I've made several posts in the past where I announced my intention not to vote for Trump.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I have to say that I seriously doubt you ever criticized Trump while he was president in the same way that you criticize Biden now. Since you joined RF, you have written thousands of posts, so perhaps you have criticized Trump in some way, but I can't confirm it for myself right now. I attempted to browse through some of your older posts so I could see them for myself, but the search function isn't currently working, so I'm unsure if what you're claiming is accurate or not. I'm having a hard time taking your word for it because I've asked you before to post any links to your older posts that would corroborate that you criticized Trump for making fun of reporters in the same way that you criticized Biden for doing so, but you never provided a direct answer. I'm therefore compelled to doubt your word until you verify it since you seemed reluctant in the other thread to provide a direct answer.

No, President Biden shouldn't act like that. I wasn't a member of RF when former President Trump mocked the disabled reporter a couple of years ago, so would you mind posting your thread about him doing that and asking the same question or a similar question asking if the President of the United States should act like that? Surely, you would have done that since it's obvious that the behavior of the President of the United States seems to concern you enough to start a public thread about it. So, please post the links to your threads about former President Trump's mocking of reporters. I'd like to read them to see if you're being morally consistent here.

Well its the job of the Democrats to convince people otherwise. Good luck.
