Now I have a question for you, explain to me how an unemotional thing and concept like evolution, could then produce emotions?
Emotions have a perfectly obvious function for animals and that is why they came to be through evolution. Obviously a romanticus, you think emotions are immaterial - but they're not, they are material and very well understood.
Maybe you weren't going for complexity requiring something more complex, but beauty is almost the same deal, be it that it is very subjective. Beauty in the form of sexual attraction isn't that mysterious or God intended either, it's basically driven by natural urges that make straight men want for women (you completely lost me with the whole "females are so great to look at" thing), say the large breasts which are a display of fertility, as well as swollen lips and certain pheromones which basically intoxicate males. Sexuality has, especially in us humans, evolved to be a major part in social life - rigged not just for reproduction.
You have to look at the function of things to understand why they have been allowed to be by evolution. Of course we don't know everything but sure can make decent predictions providing theories which will humour the scientific world for decades until a new breakthrough arrives. Just saying you're overwhelmed by complexity, diversity or beauty is meaningless (and senseless); if you'd rather be in your comfortable bubble of ignorance unwilling to find out about the material reality around you, you have no business on a discussion forum.
