I don't have any expectation that they would. But that's nevertheless the claim of this theory. It doesn't accomplish that goal from what I can tell.
It thoroughly explains the biological function of the brain and how viewing this on a quantum level, consciousness can be explained (biological quantum mechanics).

Do you believe that the Penrose-Hameroff Orch-OR theory of consciousness? Do you think that consciousness can be measured at a quantum level, or that it exists at a quantum level?
I don't have enough input on the subject. Therefore my opinion wouldn't really be valuable.

Mute discussion at this point. The collapse theory is set for testing and is believed to be testable, but since it has not fully been tested, I see no reason think this question of theory warrants any deep thought. Leave the deep thought to its authors and testers, and let us collectively wait for the results.

Just saw a science program that interviewed an anesthesiologist, who explained his viewpoint of consciousness, to include a quantum connection between the two hemispheres of the brain.
He seems to believe that an activity of one side will effect the other side,
though there is no 'tangible' route.

That would be the same report that began this thread?

To an extent; they are both on the same line, but the thesis mentioned in the OP is much more in-depth. Check out the link I posted, it explains quite well (it does get quite technical, but ti is very well explained IMO).;)

I would say it probably would. Especially if that anesthesiologist was bald with a gray goatee. If that is the case, as I'm sure it is, then yes.

That anesthesiologist is Stewart Hameroff.
