Consciousness

We are obviously conscious.

But why are we conscious? What purpose does it serve to be "conscious"?

It is a bounty for us, to understand what it is to Love.

Regards Tony

I'm not denying the power of Love. But to know Love, creates Hate.

Just like to know Good, creates Evil.

And that doesn't answer the question as to why we are Conscious. We don't need to be Conscious to be loved, or to love. Only to categorize it as "Love".

What is created is Love, to have the ability to Love, the opposite must be a possibility.

Thus hate is not a source, it is but the lack of Love.

I didn't say it was a source. I said it was a reflection, an inversion of. Remember we "fell" because we have the knowledge of Good and Evil. That is, to know Duality.

For as soon as you label something as beautiful, you make All around it ugly.

I learnt by being conscious. Humans thinking capability.

Stated by advised observation inability to be conscious in another's human biological life.

Observations stated that human life has a direct purpose of truth first.

First he says is to be conscious to be honest or truthful.

I say he as men caused all of life's problems....not a God.

So I learnt unconditional love owning no explanation is where we came from. But knew we don't own it now.

As although balances exist some were nice some were nasty. As being eaten is in fact nasty.

Light a gas burning nasty status versus immaculate cool night. Another example.

So I don't lie and don't play thesis make believe idealisms. Claiming I am loved when I'm not. I exist wanting to be loved. Know I am not in my placed existence.

Conscious

I saw and was affected by a momentary glimpse of an eternal being. Yep it sure loved me. Yet it owned no meaning in my life where I wasn't being loved by it.

As balances in created creation said so. So I said don't lie to myself either. Consciousness.

How can we love if we are not conscious?
To know good does not create evil, to know love does not create hate.
Maybe that creates a potential for evil or hate, but does not create hate.
Adam and Eve knew the good (to not eat the fruit) and this created the potential to do the evil, (eat the fruit) but that potential did not have to be fulfilled.

Consciousness just means wakefulness. If you get hit on the head, faint, or fall asleep, you become unconscious.

We evolved consciousness because it helps us interact with the world around us, allowing us to meet our physical needs and reproduce. Of course, something like a lychen or a moss is capable of doing this without any form of consciousness, but they usually end up at the bottom of the food chain. Our method allows us to become apex predators.

If I know that I stubbed my toe, does that make my toe conscious or is the conscious part somewhere else?

We can do the same action and one time it might be because of love and another it might be because of our lust and another it might be out of a sense of duty and etc etc. In that respect love can be shown in our actions but the actions aren't necessarily love.
If we have no motive in our actions then they are just actions. Can a machine love or hate even if it might do the same actions that we do?

The mechanism of consciousness operates in the manner that we can be aware of and interact with our environment.

Love is more than an action, it’s a power, a force in it’s own right. It’s the most powerful energy in the universe and without it there would be no universe, for love radiates from god, and God is Love.

Do you mean why are we aware of our self being?

I don't think that we are. Our mind creates a self image and projects all local events as happen to that self image.
We come to identify with that self so our perception is from the position of that image.

IMO, we are a brain walking around in a meat suit. We are not really conscious of being a brain so we are really not "self" aware.
The self is a mirage created by our brain that the brain(us) projects our existence into.

Conscious generally means being aware of one's surrounding which even today's computer systems are capable of.

Self consciousness is an illusion of something we are not which we are aware of.

Why? I'd suppose it enhances our survival chances. We want to protect that self image and come up with creative ways to do that.
