I just find it deeply sad that all the effort the founding fathers put into building a system based on checks and balances, the seperations of powers and limited constitutional government can be dismissed by such a sweeping call for an aggressive military policy and violation of international law in a two or three minutes news segment.

Well...people have ranted since time immemorial, so the interesting part is more around audience reaction. But if isn't generally condemned, or at least taken to task on her points, your point stands.

What's worse is that because she's so attractive she will be taken seriously as it conceals the uglyiness of the sentiments behind her words in calling for yet more pointless waste of human life erased of individuality and to fight a faceless enemy for reasons we don't understand.

I found her less attractive when she started talking. I suspect those who take her words serious due to her looks already had one foot on the bandwagon.

The most terrifying thing of all is her utter sincerity to reduce whole population to trembling in fear as we lay waste to their homes, their countries and loved ones. I can't think of a better advertisement for ISIS than that.

Her grasp of military strategy, and counter-terrorism appears non-existent. I'd like to say she'll learn, based on her youth, but there are quite possibly too many people bolstering her views.

Denial may not be an African river (it's such a dumb phrase, any ways), but you are the one trying to rationalize that a molehill is a mountain. I rationalize this with simply statistics, and they show there are a few extremists compared to the many non-extremists. And not only that, the extremists largely and mostly come from the same areas of the world. But even those few areas, even many Muslims there do not support extremism and are not hostile towards the Western culture.
If anything, Americans are far more frequently more hostile to Muslims than Muslims are towards Americans. I've seen it, several times, that someone will be very disrespectful towards someone just for being Muslim, even though the Muslim did nothing wrong, sometimes at work, but always just for nothing more than being.
Using your 15-25% statistic the way you do, you might as well believe black people are violent degenerates, because it's the same sort of statistics used in the same way that racists use to "prove" there is a problem with black people.

Fishermen of men. America itself is rife with examples of how a bunch of Christians do believe their religion should run the government; who believe school children should have to pray to their god at school; and even some who believe church attendance should be mandatory.

The article is basically a demolition of exactly the sort of scaremongering exaggeration that you *very* selectively quoted from it. The summary paragraph:
