Could get really serious it seems

I also remember the Cuban Missile Crisis. This is as bad, perhaps worse.
And we have a senile weak old man in the white house. Not Kennedy.

Would you rather still have the Farting Trumpet in charge?

It may end up as a siege. The Russians will possibly surround Ukrainan cities to starve them out. That's bad because it means civilian casualties from lack of food, medical care and good water.

I don't know if we can repeat the Berlin air drop for all of Ukraine this time.

It might well develop into a drawn-out seige. Have the Russians forgotten the lessons of Stalingrad and Leningrad?

Yeah it is very worrying, you might want to watch this that I posted above :D:

Analyst: Putin 'does not play the bluffing game' - CNN Video

It could look very bad, because im not sure he is willing or capable of backing off, I don't think he is a person that like or ever admits defeat or that he is wrong.
Aye, it might be solely about Putin's ego....
- Unreasonably escalating the war til he wins.
- Doing what maintains his power & legacy at home.

I don't know if he is deranged, but the message is clear and factual, no bluffing here

Good to read that Putin plays no favoritism

Let's hope the Western leaders are not crazy, and dismiss it as fake news or bluff
Everyone has their own personal favoritisms.
Putin appears to favor Putin & his vision
of Russian purity & supremacy.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Apparently there is a 64 km long convoy of Russian soldiers and vehicles heading to Kiev. That is quite a lot to be honest.

I'm more concerned if T-14s are involved.

I meant/said that Putin sends his nukes both to Europe as well as to the US when getting upset
I inferred that.
But in reality, I'd expect Russia to be more selective.
They'd consider....
- Some NATO countries are more of an enemy than others.
They'd nuke Germany before Italy (Putin's pet).
- Nuking USA risks far far greater retaliation than nuking
a puny NATO country with their much much smaller nuclear
arsenal. We've 10 times as many, & we have durable
delivery systems, ie, the nuclear triad.

Yea. Biden is likely over his head on this one. I can only hope the present Cheifs of Staff are still competent and capable for something like this and Biden listens to them for a change.

Maybe Putin hates USA also 10 times more

If they start nuclear I think all will lose, doesn't matter if you have a few more. Hopefully we never find out.

Putin might be off the rails & full of hatred for Ameristan,
but even he, & certainly advisors around him would be
aware that we'd retaliate in kind to a nuclear attack.
Both countries would lose....as would many others.
I hope that's enuf to limit his behavior.

As for the number of nukes, what matters is that
nuclear NATO countries have only a tenth total
that Russia has, so NATO is a small threat compared
to Ameristan, which has parity with Russia.

I wonder how Ukraine's anti-tank weapons would fare against it?

The fact that AI controls the turret means it's accuracy is unmatched moving or idle. It only requires a 3 man crew as well leaving more personal open to other duties.

Of course we have our own AI assist, but I'm not sure if we have active platforms that are independent of human control like the T-14.

At least we have drones that hopefully have that capability to take the T-14 out.
