Covid-19 origin in the news again

"CNN — After an in-depth analysis of the genetic material from hundreds of swabs taken from the walls, floors, machines and drains inside the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China — a site that’s been described as an epicenter of early spread of Covid-19 — scientists say they now know exactly which species of animals were in the same area where investigators also found the most positive samples the virus that causes Covid-19.

Species present in the areas where the highest numbers of SARS-CoV2 samples were found include raccoon dog, hoary bamboo rat, dog, European rabbit, Amur hedgehog, Malayan porcupine, Reeves’s muntjac, Himalayan marmot, and masked palm civet."

...

Well, for starters, stop treating wild animals that way.

Forty-one people with pneumonia-like symptoms have so far been diagnosed with the new virus in Wuhan, with one of the victims dying on January 8, 2020, the central Chinese city's health commission said on its website. The new findings add to strong, but circumstantial evidence that the SARS-CoV2 virus jumped from infected animals to humans and that the market was a central site of early spread.

Hi Rival. What are you basing that on? You sound so very sure of yourself.
It's taken for granted by almost everyone I know at this point. The wet market myth was invented to protect Chinese and US interests seeing as the US had funded the Wuhan lab. It surprises me when the plebs believe these stories intended to protect the groups they otherwise hate. I thought this wet market bs had died already.

Where might covid in Wuhan come from?

A lab in Wuhan that specifically deals with coronavira.

Ockham's Razor.

Seriously stunned people believe the obvious lie about a wet market when there is a more straightforward argument available.

With all due respect, 'everyone you know' is a small, biased sample, one likely comprised of few if any people who have the background/knowledge to reach that conclusion. How about some science?

Don't get me wrong; I am not claiming to know the answer, just sharing the latest information on it.

Cheers

Anecdote is fine.

Wtf.

What is it with RF lately!!

Where did covid come from?

A lab dedicated to covid.

How in the actual hell is that a feeling? It's a logically sound argument.

My god I'm out.

It is not a feeling, but an opinion. It certainly sounds reasonable but you need evidence. I mean, do you think it impossible for a virus to 'jump species' to humans (zoonosis)?

It is very, very rare comparatively. On there mere basis of chance the lab wins.

Then you only know fools. For the plebs - BS from the evil MSM...

"A team of scientists say it is “beyond reasonable doubt” the Covid pandemic started with infected animals sold at a market, rather than a laboratory leak."

There is also the matter of it being a weaponized virus originating from from a lab.

Yes, that is the competing view. I don't know the answer - just reading what is out there. If you know of any recent study pointing to the lab hypothesis, please share.
The best place to get that information is from the scientific peer reviewed journal Nature.

Unfortunately if one is that interested they may have to sign up with them to view the entire abstract.
