Creationist Error #1: One can not believe Evolution and still remain devout in their faith.

Okay. Keep your lame beliefs. Keep telling yourself that the uneducated, undereducated masses have any credibility in determining evolution. For anyone else reading this, I would say that this is really stupid -- I mean stupid -- to believe that uneducated, undereducated, unknowledgeable people's opinions count for anything regarding a subject of which they know little, or nothing about. I mean, really. This is tantamount to asking your 3 year old where babies come from, and accepting what that 3 year old says as truth.

Do you think that legal juries should not consist of a representative cross section of unbiased public, but a panel of lawyers, experts academics and politicians?

why not?

Would you submit the recent discovery of the Higgs boson to a panel of unbiased housewives?

Its interesting that the same observation of no evolutionary history has remained consistent from Darwin's day till Dawkins' !
You seem to be confusing "no evolutionary history" with the gap specifically found prior to the Cambrian explosion. There is plenty of evolutionary history to be found and in fact in recent years we have found pre-Cambrian animals that are precursors to the ones found in the Cambrian explosion. But Darwin had seen evolutionary history in some of his fossils and we have seen far more since.

Actually, yes, I do.

I actually hold that government should be ran by people educated and knowledgeable in the fields in which they are drafting and passing laws for. Aviation regulations by pilots, aeronautical engineers, aerospace doctors; Highway and rail safety by engineer and physcists; Environmental protection and preservation by Botanists, Biologists and Ecologists; a trial of medical malpractice by physicians (this would sure put a stomping on raising healthcare costs, some of which is caused by unreasonable awards resulting in higher medical malpractice rates). Or how about the horrible example of the Wenatchee child abuse prosecutions - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Imagine being a defendant in a highly publicized trial going before a jury who has already decided you are guilty based on Nancy Grace and Andersen Cooper; only to discover that your jury is immune to evidence because they already have their minds made up and are unskilled in critical thinking and objectivity ... What a nightmare!

So yes.

I do.

Well that's an eye opener! That's two atheists that would both abolish public civilian jury trails as adopted in most of the free world,

This is also one of the first things the USSR abolished and was only reinstated in '93. Similarly absent under communist China and North Korea-

I never said i would abolish public jury trials.

I never said I would abolish civilian juries.

Would you have wanted to be one of those church members falsely accused of molesting children in some grand conspiracy to be judged by emotionally irrational jurors who already believes you are guilty in Winnache? Or would you rather had been judged by civilian psychologists during a public trial who would have had a better chance of seeing through the BS? Jurors who were not immune to the evidence you present in your defense?
