Creationists Explain the Naked Mole Rat!

I just watch a documentary on the naked mole rat. That creature is absolutely disgusting.

It looks like a flaccid uncircumcised penis with legs and teeth!

Just look at the thing:

You explain to me what was on God's mind when he created that? Was God on Angel Dust or something? Because that thing is just plain hideous and there is absolutely no reason why a sane and sober God would create a mole rat. I find it hard that any one can actually believe that a good and gracious God could or would create something that horrible looking.

And it is not just their looks that make me cringe in horror, it is the lifestyle of the naked mole rats that makes me throw up my hands to heaven and say "Why Oh God? Why?". The naked mole rat lives like a hive animal, it has a big fat queen that seldom moves and is constantly birthing more of these monstrosity while the other mole rats serve has her drones and neutered slaves. Yes! The mole rat lives as some sort of mammalian termite. Like a bug. What kind of mammal lives like a bug. That is just not right.

So, I can only come to one conclusion, there is no way a good God could have created these things, these things are way too disgusting to blame God for. It's like only random chance or natural selection could together something so bizarre as these animal. And I don't believe that we would be so curse with such bad luck for chance to do this to us, so I can only blame evolution for the naked mole rat.

My conclusion was just the opposite. There's no way that evolution can produce something that disgustingly ugly, no matter how many bazillions of years it has.

Listen, there's ugly by accident. And then there's so-ugly-it-had-to-be-on-purpose, ugly.

You didn't mention that they eat each other's crap too.
Disgusting? Yes! But only because of our non-mole rat perspective.
They're perfect for their niche in the environment, and no doubt attractive to each other.
You're an anti-mole ratite!

Not a creationist but... God has a really weird sense of humour?
Turkeys, platypuses, blobfish, naked mole rats.

Yep. A creationist God has one crazy sense of humour.

I don't see random accident or divine purpose in the creation of these things. I see the bizarre works of natural selection behind all of this. This is the fault of natural selection and it's bizarre agenda to give us naked mole rats.

If you look at all the species that have existed and exist now, and just look at the extremely strangeness of them all, it doesn't matter if you attribute it to evolution or some divine creature, you realize quite well that whatever put them there, must at least have some twisted sense of humor

The only intellectual animal that has next to no concern for the on-going depletion of its limited natural resources.

Year 2214; "Please pass lard, and throw another stick on the fire."
Einstein's quote on the infinity of human stupidity comes to mind. Very apt for our species. So smart, but so dumb at the same time.

See what I mean? There is no way that a good God would create a cold blooded mammal that lives like a bug.

It's has to be some fluke of nature.

This is yet another example of god-thinking leading to delusion.

Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If we find something beautiful or ugly, that tells us something about ourselves and almost nothing significant about the object observed.
