I think it's a sign of the type of people the candidate and his voters are. I could see Sanders apologizing if he were to get something wrong and I doubt it would hurt him. Trump or Cruz? Not so much.

Not that it matters all that much, but Sanders got a WWII fact wrong about how Hitler came to power in Germany a while back, and he never corrected himself. But, that might have been because I'm the only one weird enough to care that much.

The USA is so backward in many ways; guns, contraception, evolution, etc. This is just a great example of how religion makes a country backward.

You can get those things all over the place, although abortions are a little difficult because

Nope, no one cared about facts then and no one cares now, its also getting less attention.

Usually how it goes. People still believe it too. And having people like Fiorina still going on about it and spreading the lies doesn't help either. The people who were supposed to be outraged about this are still doing their part. It's all a massive scam and PP was a target. Just like how they did with Acorn. I'm glad they got something legally for this (and that's a big victory itself) but where it matters in the political theater area of life it's still going on.
