I don't think it's possible to be a Taoist without having a sense of humour. It would be like eating with chopsticks in polite society and not accidentally sticking them up your nose, unheard of. (I speak from personal experience :p)

If y'all will permit me a brief ego-stoking bio; I was raised a strict Christian, until I rebelled for a while and went around chanting 'God is dead'. A year ago when my mother suddenly died I began exploring faith again and wandered aimlessly around until I came across a kooky chinese religion beginning with T. I've stayed still since. :)
