Creepy Perverts! What's Wrong With People?

So, I went out to this club last night for my friend's birthday. I left early, because the club sucked. As I was walking towards the door to leave, this pervert, walking towards me, looked right in my eyes and before I knew what was happening, he stuck his hand out and grabbed my crotch! Like full on palmed it!

Are you effing KIDDING me?? Is this acceptable behaviour these days? Like, obviously this guy's done it before. You don't just wake up one morning and think "Hey, I'm going to go to a club tonight and grab a crotch!" So, like, do other girls just brush this off and let it happen?

Anyway, needless to say I was appauled. I whipped my bag around and hit him in the back of the head and elbowed him in the face. I'm getting ready to swing a kick to HIS crotch, when I'M grabbed by the security guard and hauled outside to face the cops that had been called. On ME.

They almost effing arrested ME. I get molested in a bar, and because I stand up for myself, I'M the one who gets in trouble? Happily (I guess), by the end of my curse filled livid tirade, the cops don't arrest me, but for some reason, don't arrest this ******* either. They tell him "Just don't go back inside."!!! Don't go back inside???

Is this behaviour accepted in clubs these days?? When I was 18 and started going to bars, if that had happened, the bouncers would have had a field day with the pervert, out back of the club. Now he gets off with a polite request to not go back inside, while I'm put in cuffs for defending my right to NOT be molested in the middle of a bar??

I get man-handled, he gets a busted lip and a broken tooth, and I get in trouble. How is that justice?

A busted lip and a broken tooth? Actually, Blayze, I'd say that turned out well. :D

He deserved worse. He's lucky the bouncer grabbed me before I could do more damage.

I'm just disgusted by the whole situation. By the fact that he grabbed me at all, and by the fact that I was cuffed for it, while this potential rapist was allowed to walk free with no discipline whatsoever.

I blame socialist medicine. By elbowing him you cost the health system money. That's what upset the cops.

Sorry it happened though. :( You deserve better treatment.

You go, girl! :clap I don't think it's a sign of the times - there's pervs around. Always has been, always will be. Consider yourself lucky you got a chance to kick the crap out of one for the team - maybe he'll think twice next time.

I hope not. I mean, I'm a tough chick, obviously, and I can take a lot of crap, but I can't even begin to explain how violated I felt! I could feel his hand on me all night. I immediately went home and literally made Jason just grab my crotch, so I could feel something other than this *******'s hand. I can't even imagine what a chick weaker than I am would feel.

Yeah - that's really gross and creepy. No argument.

It seems that these sort of guys tend to get away with such things all too often. What they hell goes through their minds anyway?

Most molesters harbour some seriously delusional ideas about what kind of attention their victims really desire. Even pedophiles molesting the very young tend to believe they were "led on". So based on that, I would guess that what's going through their minds is "I'm going to give her something she'll really enjoy".

And what was going through my mind was "Here, let me show you how much I enjoyed it"

Good job.

In a strange coincidence, we spent a fair bit of time in my karate class last week learning about the value of elbows. ;)

Elbows really are an underrated bodily weapon! A sharp jab from an elbow can do a lot more damaged than a punch, a lot of times. I got a better swing, and more power behind the elbow I threw, than I would have, had I thrown a punch.

Done here.
Good point. He needs help.
I think Blayze helped him as much as she could before they stopped her, and would have helped him even more otherwise. For most people, the information that grabbing a woman's crotch is a good way to get your arm broken is enough to encourage a different approach in the future.

The bouncers and cops acted like pigs. I'm glad you got in a good punch, Blayze. Sorry this happened to you.

I'm with Quagmire Blayzeh, but I also agree the cops should have done more than told him not to go back inside. A night in the cells with the dirtiest mother they can find would probably cut it.

Come party in NZ... that way I can deck them and the bouncers will just hand out a high five.

What a sick man and what were the cops and bouncers doing? Normally bouncers are happy to give people a good punch.
Still sounds like you got a good couple of hits in.
