A technical problem. When Lord Krishna was studying in Ujjain in the hermitage of Sage Sandeepani, he must have had a tonsured head, not different from that of Sudama. The curly locks are not permissible in Brahmacharya and in a 'gurukula'. No ornaments either.SHRI KRISHNA & SUDAMA: such sweet looks in their eyes!

I don't know if I have seen an image of tonsured head Krishna...Ill have to look that up, thanks for sharing your knowledge with me!
