Death

I want to ask your opinion on death.
How do you view death?

I asked a question about tha rapture in another thread, and somehow we ended up arguing about whether death was a bad thing or not.
Some people seemed to feel that since death can be a horrible thing and they don't feel like dying death is a bad thing.
I agree that death can be a horrible thing, and I don't feel like dying any time soon, but would you really wan't to live in a world where people lived forever?
Depends how I am to die. All in all, death is unimportant. Living is what counts, and a life spent worrying about death is like watching a movie and worrying about the credits.

I have no problem with death. We live and we die, and we do so many times, before our souls are prepared to move on to the World To Come.

This world, this plane of existence, is not designed to sustain mortal life forever. Our time here must be transitory.

Death itself is not horrible: the manner of dying may be horrible, especially if it is not a natural death, but that's a different matter.

I don't believe in "death", per se. All I see is transformation/change. I think of death as being like the emergence of a butterfly from its chrysalis.

Death can be a way toward beautiful and nice heaven or a way toward an unknown horrible world and this two way depended on our choosing ( right belief and correct actions )
