Defunding the EPA

I can't argue with you there.
I bet you could if you really put both your fore & aft brains to it.
But maintaining our natural resources is a priority of mine. I am hoping that the dismantling/defunding of the EPA will not jeopardize that. I am a bit more pessimistic in that regard.
I say the EPA is useful, albeit in want of some improvements.

I like decentralization.
But some level of centralization is useful....even the UN.
There is no perfect balance, just shifting power as we all adapt.

When I was a kid, forced prayer in public schools was the norm.
The fed ended that by constitutional means.
Good.

I generally, agree, and this of course where our notions of libertarian hit a little Venn Diagram overlap a bit. I'd prefer decentralization in general, and I have no problem with larger federations. We are just so far away decentralization at this point, that detachment and refederalization seem pretty necessary at this point. We are so decentralized at the moment, that we run the risk of collapsing because of it, and people from different locales just fundamentally disagree with one another on issues that the current Constitution muddles up.

I favor a more constitutional approach to environmental protectioni.

Once you realize the bus is going to go over the edge of the cliff no mater what we do, drawing straws to see who gets to drive kind of loses it's meaning.

So you think the fed has too little power over us?
Oh, dear. Trump would be the one wielding it.

There's no cliff.
Despite what all the Chicken Littles will say, the planet will not be destroyed by GW.
And it won't exterminate humans. There will be changes in population centers with
attendant strife though. This can be minimized by doing what's reasonable.

I think the Fed should be dissolved, precisely because it has too much power over us and others (namely engaging in several trillion dollars worth a 17+ years of warfare with a bill with my name on it), and literally the way the legislature and the executive branch is set up is just incoherent and nonsensical.

I like how the checks and balances were set up, and it would be nice if they were slightly reinforced so the legislature actually did things instead of deferring it to the executive branch. It's good that the judiciary actually manages to exist, but there have even been times when the executive ignored the judicial (ep. Andrew Jackson) It was also a good idea the way they set up the amendment system for huge things, and requiring super majorities and the such.

Also, the electoral college is lame. Our voting system is just bad in so many ways.

Your name's on it?
You're the one!

It's a work in progress.
