dejavu

I've experienced deja vu many times. Mostly with conversations. I will find myself in a conversation with someone and suddenly I know exactly how it is going to go...word for word.
I had that once, as a kid, but not since. It was like a memory of something that hadn't happened yet; and, then, of course, it happened.

That's precognizance, not clairvoyance.

Yeah, that's the word. Couldn't think of it. Sometimes I get a "word block" you know? That incessently annoying condition where you all of a sudden stop typing or talking and your mind goes .."euheuhueeeuhhheueh" :p

For me its suddenly finding myself thinking of someone I have not seen in some time, and a day later in they walk.

Regards,
Scott
I've had that. It usually happens that same day though.

I also will dream about something random and then relive that dream down the road. Nothing really significant though.

I have had a few dreams about people before I met them and things like that. It is always a bit disquieting.

Deja-vu is often a feeling that we're experiencing something that we remember having experienced before. Have you ever experienced an instance of deja-vu that was wrong (like, not the way it was supposed to happen)?

All the time. At the moment it felt like the action happened before but when it was over and I thought about I knew that it was wrong.

(this felt right)

[Neo sees a black cat walk by them, and then a similar black cat walk by them just like the first one]
Neo: Whoa. Déjà vu.
[Everyone freezes right in their tracks]
Trinity: What did you just say?
Neo: Nothing. Just had a little déjà vu.
Trinity: What did you see?
Cypher: What happened?
Neo: A black cat went past us, and then another that looked just like it.
Trinity: How much like it? Was it the same cat?
Neo: It might have been. I'm not sure.
Morpheus: Switch! Apoc!
Neo: What is it?
Trinity: A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.

I have experienced this phenomena but only in foreign countries, I think it is caused by things that are actually known to me either from TV or a movie. One of the big things thats sets off dejavu for me is Mc McDonald's and Coke adds, although the Coke adds are in Thai the manner they are written in is automatically recognizable even if you can't read Thai. Sometimes I forget where I am when I'm driving because although the architecture is obviously Asian the mountains look like Pennsylvania where I am from originally. So, I think it is just trigger sights that we are not taking into consideration when we have this feeling.
