Describe your gender

This is not a debate forum. I also dont want to discuss if trans and nonbinary folk exist. This is just an exercise I found in a book about gender and spirituality. Thought itd be interesting to see folks reply

Without using the words masculine, feminine, female, male, boy, or girl, or any other similarly themed words...
Describe your gender.

I'll go first.

My gender is at times as intense as the sun but also as soft as the moon. It is the dark quiet of the forest, and like the sound of the wind at night. It is in your face like a cat grabbing your arm and insisting you pet it...it is like a tornado that gently places a young child on the ground.

Having been celibate for several years, I have no use for the term.

I am as you see me.

Wouldn't know what to say - it's not a question I can relate to,,, unless you give me some pointers?
A lot of folk dont know how to answer that question unless you count nonbinary folk. Not many people have tried to think about their gender and especially dont try to consider it without using binary language. Try this...pause think about your gender identity. What energy does it give off when you think about it? Can you relate that energy to nonhuman things like the sun? This might not help but it might help.

What is gender in this context?

(Not trying to be difficult, having trouble understanding.)

As a nonbinary person you often dont have the language to describe your gender identity because it doesnt exist in English. So when explaining it you may have to relate your identity to other things that dont really seem to have to do with gender. For example...my gender is often an intense at times. So I may think well storms are intense. As a result both my gender identity and storms are similar to each ither

What's the difference between gender and personality here?

@JustGeorge. Most cis and binary trans folk dont have to consider stuff like this when explaining gender identity. But a nonbinary person may have to.
