It also appears that Hercules once tried to steal Thor's girlfriend.

Thor and Herc got off to a bad start with each other, but then became good friends. I'd love to see a Thor (Chris Hemsworth) movie with Herc showing their friendship and adventures. I'm not yet sure who I'd want to see play Herc. He'd have to be at least as big as Chris Hemsworth, who is 6'3". Maybe Daniel Cudmore (Colossus from X-Men) or Henry Cavill (Man of Steel).

Did you really just say that or am I having one of those hallucinations theists tend to have?

A particular story can be objectively studied, but they are always subjectively derived. But context was key in that they are not theistically biased opinions that hold credibility.

I messed up and should have made it more clear.

Thanks you, good catch.

My first thought was wait, he's got to know the saying "history is written by the victors". :D

And without looking through that lens, one is simply blind.

And on the other side of the coin, Israelites had written much from the oppressed side of he spectrum. Maybe that's why it has the epic beauty that has stood the test of time. But I would also think monotheism was/is very appealing to the masses.
