Yes, Jesus prayed to God. Both for himself (he also will face judgment) as well as an example to the people on how to pray and why we should pray.

Jesus taught the Disciples how to pray, didn't he? So, yeah, if I remember correctly, Jesus prayed. For him, it must have been just like phoning home from camp or something . . .

"Hey, Dad, how are things back home? I've missed ya. Yeah, still got some work to do down here. I'll talk to you later." Of course, that is just my translation. I believe it came out more formally as something like, "Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name . . . "

Jesus prayed to the Father from whom he was sent to man for their salvation.

I would love an explanation as to the art work presented with your original question to Christians. It is certainly well done, but its "message" eludes me.:candle:

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

You guys are misreading the OP - it says "Did the bible mention that Jesus used to pray FOR the God (the father)?"

This question is entirely different from "Did the bible mention that Jesus used to pray TO the God (the father)?"

To my knowledge - It is not recorded anywhere in the New Testament that Jesus prayed FOR the Father.
