Did the very first cell evolve?

Nor am I. It would make you look much less foolish if you learned what your opponents actually believe instead of attacking a straw man.

They are not my opponents. I actually pretty much agree with them, believe it or not. I post these radom questions to get a reaction and to tell them not to take themselves so seriously, which they do you know. They do, they do, they do!:D

I am definitely your opponent, as I oppose your stance. And, just as I explained, it is simply nonsense to claim that I believe life came "from nothing".

Yeah, like a person jumping from Las Vegas to New York in one bound.
That is actually an excellent analogy for what sometimes happens in this debate. Some people will reject evolution by saying it is impossible for a chimp to give birth to a human (or some such rot). But this is just like saying it is impossible to go from Las Vegas to New York because it is impossible to do so in one bound. But it is possible to get from Las Vegas to New York step by step.*

(*Admittedly it is a lot easier if you take a plane, but you get my point)

Indeed. It's as much a straw man as "from nothing", since it's attacking some sort of saltationism that nobody endorses.

Actually, re-phrase that. Did the very first form of life evolve (and I don't mean afterwards)? Opinions please!

Are you asking what happened at the beginining? if you extrapolate back through all evolution?
What do you think?

Hey, that's the sort of thing I get from evolutionists all the time.

Give example of when a "evolutionist" says this as it is completely against what Evolution is. Provide source, name and possible a Link if you can. He is wrong if it is true, that is not Evolution and he woulkd then not be a "evolutionist", he would be similar to a Creationist as that is what they think.. Strange, could it be made up by a creationist and claimed to be said by a "Evolutionist"? We will never know as you ignore hard questions.

I'm speechless. Rarely does one encounter a question so wondrously inane, so deliciously stupid. :clap

Dood, do you really have nothing better to do? Seriously, if answering his question is above you, then ignore it. Keep the petty insults inside your head please.

While one cannot hope to persuade an ardent YECist of anything, they do perform a service by demonstrating their manifest dishonesty and fallacious arguments.

Please list the qualities of life before disqualifying viruses.

"bio' is a prefix indicating life.

Viruses do not reproduce on their own, they don't produce or use energy, and they are not even single celled organism. They are just a strand of RNA covered in a protein coating. They don't even use their RNA, they can't. They inject it into actual life which converts the cell into more viruses.
