I had a teddy, given to me by my grandfather, it was his when he was a child.

Alas old age and much repaired fabric eventually got past the stage where it could be repaired.

He looked rather like this guy but was bald in a few places and had several war wounds

Was over two and a half foot tall, much bigger than me when i was given it.

We did give Stanley (named after my grandfather) a respectable funeral and burial overlooking the river.
