I would have voted for Trump but I couldn't. I am old enough to vote. Their are some reasons why I couldn't.

The reason I voted for Gary Johnson is I found both candidates detestable. Trump morally and Clinton professionally. It would be like picking between Hitler and Stalin. Yes Stalin supported the current world structure temporarily but his intent was to bring it down as well.

fair enough...choosing between Hitler and Stalin would be tough....I'd choose Hitler personally. Stalin was more intrinsically Atheist!...but tough choice anyway! They're both disgusting!

I voted Trump, I could not ethically support Hillary or Gary. Just too much at stake to risk it on another cigar 
Clinton all the way. I would never vote for a Republican for President.

I can't even imagine voting for someone (or not voting for someone) based solely on his/her political affiliation. Me... I vote for the person, not the party, and my votes are all over the political spectrum.

In theory I try not to vote by party and used to be fairly bipartisan in the ballot box, but in the last two elections found myself going almost straight blue and green. The Republican party is such a hot mess that even the politicians whom I kind of like and and respect on that side have been sidelined and silenced so the loonies can dance. I'll go red again when and if they can sort their stuff out and jettison the racist and religious nonsense that has made them all hypocrites.
